community feedback form, beaches east-york
Dear Neighbour,
As you may know, I’m not running again in the next election. By the time we have an election next year, I’ll have served our community for 10 years in Parliament. I’d like to be more present for my wife and young kids in the next stage of my life.
My team and I are still here to serve you for the remainder of this Parliament. I’ve worked hard to bring a principled voice to Parliament and to deliver effective advocacy, and we are going to make the most of this final year.
To that end, I want your feedback and advice.
You’ll continue to receive newsletter updates from us in your mailbox. But as so many of us live much of our lives online, we’ve also put a considerable amount of effort into improving our digital communication. You can find our podcast and video updates/explainers at uncommons.ca and you can follow us on social media at @beynate.
I’m also available over the summer for a call or meeting if there’s a federal issue you want to bring to my attention. And my team is always available to help you navigate the federal bureaucracy. If we can’t help directly, we will connect you with an office that can.
Whatever your politics, we are here to help.
Representing our community is the best job I’ll ever have, and I look forward to making the most of the time I have left in this Parliament. I’m not sure what will come after that just yet, but I’ll be looking to make a difference in a different way.
When I was getting ready to run in the nomination back in 2013, I wrote that I would put Beaches-East York on the federal map – to ensure that this riding has the hardest working representative in the House, and to make the progressive values of this riding’s citizens part of our government’s agenda.
I will continue to keep that promise for as long as I’m your voice in Ottawa.
Nate
